Nestled in the heart of St Albans on George Street, the Flower Box has been a beloved fixture for flower enthusiasts and locals since its doors first opened in 2014. Originally founded by Zoe, the shop quickly gained a reputation for offering an array of fresh flowers, plants, and beautifully curated arrangements.
In November 2019, the store relocated to 23 George Street, where it continued to thrive. But in September 2022, a new chapter began when Karolina took over ownership, breathing new life into the cherished establishment.
Though deeply rooted in the world of floristry, Karolina had always harbored a dream of owning her own flower shop one day. In 2016, she moved to the UK with this dream in mind, determined to make it a reality. Fast forward to September 2022, and her dream finally came true when she became the proud new owner of the Flower Box.
For Karolina, flowers are not just a business—they’re a lifelong passion. Under her ownership, the Flower Box continues to offer a dazzling selection of fresh blooms and plants, but with her unique touch. Her years of experience and dedication to perfection are evident in every bouquet she crafts. Whether it’s for a wedding, a special event, or a simple “just because” arrangement, Karolina ensures that each flower is carefully selected, each petal lovingly arranged.
“I’ve always believed that flowers have the power to brighten someone’s day, to express emotions that words sometimes can’t,” Karolina says with a smile. “Being able to share that with the people of St Albans means everything to me.”
